States United to Prevent Gun Violence is a national non-profit organization dedicated to making our families and communities safer. Their mission is to support state-based gun violence prevention organizations and to bring new partners into the movement. Together with their 27 state affiliates and over 150,000 grassroots supporters they are working to build healthy communities by reducing gun death and injury through stronger laws, community education and grassroots action. Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence

The Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence started in 2013 after the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. As an umbrella organization, the Coalition brings together organizations and institutions across MA to end the epidemic of gun violence that plagues our communities and takes the lives of so many of our citizens. Through education, advocacy and holding those in power accountable, we will bring about real change that will lessen the likelihood of someone you love becoming a victim of gun violence. Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence

The mission of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence is to create a safer community by preventing gun violence and enhancing gun safety through public education, creating unity among similarly motivated entities, and advocating for effective local, state, and national programs, policies, and legislation. Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence (CSGV) is a 501(c)(4) organization that was founded in 1974. We seek to secure freedom from gun violence through research, strategic engagement and effective policy advocacy.
Our organizational structure is unique among national gun violence prevention organizations. CSGV is composed of 47 national organizations working to reduce gun violence. Our coalition members include religious organizations, child welfare advocates, public health professionals, and social justice organizations. This diversity of member organizations allows us to reach a wide variety of grassroots constituencies who share our vision of non-violence.
